Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex
I've been commissioned by the City of Greensboro to develop a ceramic mural that honors and celebrates the Greensboro community. Through workshops, visits to the archives, museums, and conversations with Greensboro residents, I've developed a visual language unique to the city. I'm working closely with the architect and community stakeholders throughout the process.
That language is being translated into a 12' × 26' ceramic mural honoring the past, present, and future of Greensboro. The mural will be completed in 2027.
Greensboro Community Workshop
I hosted a community workshop where Greensboro residents helped build a visual language for their city — inspired by African writing systems and grounded in their own words on representation. The resulting symbols will be woven into the mural at Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex.
